An exhibit of Boone County artifacts opened Saturday, Jan. 17, at the Elkhorn Valley Museum in Norfolk. Boone County Historical Society officers attended, along with nine Norfolk residents and Norfolk Mayor Sue Fuchtman. The exhibit includes items from both present and former Boone County communities, with themed displays about the courthouse, veterans, schools, music and Native Americans. A total of 11 handmade quilts are also on display. The Boone County exhibit will be featured through February.
