Achievements of the past four years, and an opportunity to succeed in new challenges, were highlighted during Boone Central High School’s commencement exercises last Sunday, May 16.
Class speakers Whitney Michael and Erica Carder noted the personalities of the class and their positive outlook on the future. Class motto this year was: “Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending,” by Maria Robinson.
Whitney Michael focused on the diversity among her classmates and the excitement of preparing for the next phase of their lives.
Erica Carder’s speech recounted the experiences and highlights of the class as they advanced through elementary, middle school and high school.
Graduate Shelby Travis was master of ceremonies for commencement.
