Albion’s city sales tax receipts declined by about seven percent in December 2010, as compared with the same month the previous year.
The December 2010 total of $55,815 was about $4,100 less than the December 2009 total of $59,947. However, the most recent December total was still nearly $8,000 more than the November 2010 total.
This marks the first decline in month-to-month comparisons in 14 months.
