Road and bridge construction projects totaling more than $1,350,000 are listed on Boone County’s one-year road improvement plan, which was approved by County Commissioners Monday.
Topping the list is a 1.3-mile asphalt overlay project for the Raeville Road, from Highway 14 into Raeville.
County Highway Superintendent Darrel Thorin pointed out that this is a federal aid highway project that has been listed for construction since 1993. Federal funds are expected to cover 80 percent of the estimated $886,000 cost.
