Petersburg will be hosting its annual Carnival Days celebration next Tuesday through Thursday, June 21-23, with events for all ages.
On Tuesday, June 21, there will be junior high mud volleyball and a high school dodgeball tournament at the Petersburg Park starting at 4 p.m. The opening ceremony will be at 7 p.m. at the Fire Hall, and kids’ races will be held at 7:15 at the same location.
On Wednesday, the schedule begins at 4 p.m. with high school mud volleyball and junior high dodgeball at the village park. Flag-raising will be held at 7 p.m. at the park, and the obstacle course for all ages will begin at 7:15 p.m.
Thursday’s schedule begins with 3-on-3 basketball at 6 p.m., the free barbecue sponsored by Petersburg State Bank at 6:30, flag-raising at 7 p.m. and a “Minute to Win It” game at 7:15. A “Lock In” for middle school students will be held from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. at the Middle School Gym.
