Season point leads changed in three of the five regular Boone County Raceway classes Friday as racing competition continued full bore at the Albion fairgrounds oval.
Tad Pospisil of Norfolk again gained the upper hand on Albion’s Mark Lueken in Late Model racing, winning the A Feature and moving back atop the standings by four points.
In the Modified class, Jared Hoefelman of Columbus was runner-up in the feature race and edged one point ahead of previous leader Jacob Anson of Albion. St. Edward’s Chris Tenski had a rough night in the feature, placing sixth, and slipping to third in the season standings as A event winner Dusty Poessnecker of Atkinson took over the class lead.
Norfolk’s Kyle Prauner kept his stranglehold on the B Mod point lead with a third consecutive runner-up feature finish and Troy Bergman of Columbus stayed atop the Stock Car standings after running third in the A Feature event.
