Planning Board approves setback changes

During its monthly meeting on Dec. 27, the Boone County Planning Commission approved recommendations to reduce setback distance for structures near county roads, and for a lot split that could make way for a rural residence.

The planning board also scheduled a discussion at its next meeting on reducing setback distances required for stockpiling of manure from livestock feeding operations.
