Many details of Boone Central’s proposed school construction projects were presented to the Board of Education Monday night, April 9.
The presentations included a master plan and concept drawings of the proposed new high school building and renovations to the existing Albion school building.
The board also accepted an appraisal and approved an option agreement to purchase 38.97 acres of land for the proposed new high school building.
If Boone Central District voters approve the $20.85 million bond issue for new facilities on May 15, the school will purchase a tract of land south of Fairview Street and slightly east of the present school athletic field and track.
