Landowners were advised of their rights in relation to the Keystone XL pipeline project at a meeting sponsored by BOLD Nebraska last Tuesday evening, May 22, at the Boone County Event Center.
David Domina, attorney with the Domina Law Group PC of Omaha, emphasized that landowners should know their rights, and they should be sure of any terms before signing easement agreements with TransCanada Corp.
He spoke to about 60 to 70 landowners from Boone County and other counties along the pipeline route. He advised them to consider any easement terms as a much higher priority than even the price.
