Kayton International to mark 100 years

Tim Kayton, left, and Roger TernusWhen Henry C. Kayton founded Kayton Implement in 1912, at Belgrade, NE, farm machinery was still horse-drawn.

Many things have changed in that 100-year span. Today, Kayton International offers the latest farm equipment from four locations in Boone, Antelope, Madison and Knox counties.

The business will celebrate 100 years of family ownership with a free dance, open to the public, this Saturday, July 21, from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight at the Boone County Fairgrounds.

Tim Kayton, Henry’s great grandson, now owns and operates the business along with manager Roger Ternus.

Details in the July 18 Albion News Print & Electronic Editions.
