Leaders Thrive At Boone County Raceway

The rich got richer once again at the Boone County Raceway in Albion Friday, August 3.
Season point leaders in all classes strengthened their positions, with four of the six winning A Feature races.
Tad Pospisil and Kyle Prauner of Norfolk continued to run away from the pack in the Limited Late Model and IMCA Sport Mods classes, respectively. Albion’s Tyler Iverson gained more separation in the IMCA Modified division and Cameron Meyer of Pierce continued her domination of IMCA Sport Compact competition.
Jason Wilkinson of Neligh still has a commanding advantage in the IMCA Hobby Stock class following a solid third-place run in Friday’s feature event and, in the BCR’s tightest point battle,  Norfolk’s Ron Pettitt actually widened his lead despite placing fifth in the A Feature, as challenger TeJay Miekle of Norfolk struggled and finished 12th.
The BCR has just one regular race card remaining this Friday before the 2012 Championship Night August 17.
