Albion native, crew, forced to eject from B1-B

Captain Curtis MichaelAir Force Captain Curtis Michael, a native of Albion, was part of a four-man crew forced to eject from a B1-B bomber that crashed during a training flight on Monday, Aug. 19, near Broadus, MT.
Captain Michael was one of two instructor pilots on the flight that crashed about 9:30 a.m. The other pilot was Major Frank Biancardi II. Captain Chad Nishizuka and Captain Brandon Packard were weapons system officers on board. All crew members were able to eject.
