CVA to add facilities at Petersburg

Representatives of Central Valley Ag (CVA), Stan Kallhoff and Jerry Schrage, were present at the February Village of Petersburg board meeting held last Tuesday to discuss a proposed new storage unit and leg for the Petersburg elevator.
Kallhoff stated: “At this point, we do not have board approval. We are looking at zoning and paperwork, but we would like to let you know what is being planned.” He explained that they plan to put up a large bin to allow for additional storage with the possibility of between 600,000 to 700,000 bushel capacity. The design at this point has not been approved. The lot is zoned industrial with no setbacks.
CVA expects the site to be completed by harvest.
