Boone Central overall facilities plan was introduced in May.Boone Central School Board members left a 2 1/2-hour planning meeting Monday night with a concensus on building facility needs.
The board determined the district’s next building effort on the Albion campus should include both an addition and extensive renovation of classroom space.
The facilities plan has been under consideration since May.
Total cost of the reduced project would be about $13.3 million, a big reduction from the $20.85 million bond issue proposed in 2012 for a new high school.
