Rae Valley Days pulled off without (or with) a hitch

Crew makes some adjustments to the antique threshing machine powered by a steam tractor (background).Even though rain was in the forecast, both storms came during the night and didn’t interrupt the Rae Valley Days annual show.
An inch of rain was recorded Friday night and on Saturday night almost 1/2 inch of rain fell in the area.
Organizers were pleased with the turnout of people who attended. Sunday was a big day. Larry Petsche said it the largest show they have ever had in 32 years. He also added that the Big Red Collector’s Club, which was formed at one of the annual events, were back for their 20th anniversary this year.
