Planning Board recommends approval for permits

Boone County Planning Commission repeated its earlier approval of a conditional use permit for a hog confinement building and approved four conditional use permits for rural land divisions Monday night, Sept. 22.
The board also adopted state mandated airport zoning regulations as an amendment to the county zoning regulations, although several members expressed dissatisfaction with the airport rules on the height of structures within 10-mile flight paths.
A conditional use permit application of MSJM Properties, LLC, for a Class I hog confinement building to be located northwest of Albion, was again recommended for approval by the planning board after a public hearing.
