School bond election date set

Boone Central School Board on Monday night approved a resolution calling for a special bond election for school facilities at Albion.
The election date will be Tuesday, May 12, 2015, and the bond amount was again set at $12,990,000.
This will be a by-mail election, meaning that ballots will be sent to all registered voters of the district 20 days before the stated election date. Ballots can be returned by mail or taken to the County Clerk’s office in person by 5 p.m. on May 12 to be counted in the special election.
Planned building improvements have been only slightly revised from the last bond election in November 2014.
