BC/NG golfers 2nd in area quad

Although Saturday’s Boone Central Boys Golf Invitational was pushed back to Tuesday by inclement weather, the Cardinals did have a chance to host a small meet this past week.
BC/NG welcomed three area schools to the Albion Country Club for a quadrangular April 14, placing second to Fullerton (188-199) in varsity competition. Twin River (213) finished third and Riverside (254) fourth.
Fullerton’s TJ Ostransky also edged Joel Meyer of BC/NG for low nine-hole round of the day (41-42). Three Warriors added scores of 49, while Parker Wallin was the only other Cardinal to break 50 (47).
Jeremy Preister (50) led Twin River and Kyle Cornwell (56) was low for Riverside.
