County attorney replies on motion to recuse

County Attorney James Ely, Jr. last Friday filed a response to a motion by defense attorney Jeff Jarecki to have Ely recused from County Court cases involving alleged zoning violations.

A total of 64 misdemeanor counts were filed against each of four defendants for allegedly proceeding with construction of a hog confinement building before obtaining the required permits.
