Country Partners, All Points co-op boards approve merger plan

Green areas of map show trade areas and locations that would be part of the newly merged cooperative.Boards of Directors of All Points Cooperative (APC), headquartered in Gothenburg, NE, and Country Partners Cooperative (CPC), headquartered in Spalding, announced last week they have signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to unify the two organizations, pending due diligence and a vote of the membership of each cooperative later this year.
The cooperative leaders cited member benefits including better assets, net savings, programs, customer service, and access to a new level of resources and expertise.
Preliminary plans call for continuing offices of the merged cooperative at both Spalding and Gothenburg.
Over the next several weeks, local stockholder meetings will be held to share more information and answer members’ questions.
