Area student-athletes receive Academic All-State awards

The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) has announced the student recipients of the 2015 Fall Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association (NCPA) Academic All-State Awards.
Since 2006, this NSAA Award Program has recognized students who meet criteria for nomination by their school in the season of their activity. Each year the NSAA and NCPA recognize students during Fall, Winter and Spring seasons who are nominated by their schools for their individual academic excellence, leadership and significant contributions to their NSAA activity.

Following are the students from the Albion News area who received NSAA/NCPA Fall Academic All-State Awards:
Boone Central: Thomas Hosford, Scott Wright, Ashlynn Baker, Taylor Starman (Cross Country); Isaac Sullivan (Football); Sheldon Beierman, Jared Zwiener (Play Production); Jaclyn Frey, Brandy Thieman (Softball); Tessa Hedlund, Nicole Woebbecke (Volleyball).
Newman Grove: Steven Arreguin (Football); Esmeralda Arreguin, Rebecca Stone (Play Production).
