Boone County Dems favor Clinton

By a narrow margin, Boone County Democrats favored Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders in the Democratic Caucus held last Saturday, March 5, at the Albion Country Club.
With a total of 37 Boone County residents participating, 20 voters cast their ballots for Clinton, and 17 favored Bernie Sanders.
In Nebraska as a whole, the results were reversed, with Bernie Sanders claiming the victory. Sanders received 19,120 votes or 57.1 percent of the total vote, while Clinton received 14,340 votes or 42.9 percent of the total vote.
