Young leaders consider county needs

An initial meeting of Boone County young adult leaders was held Thursday evening, March 31, with 37 attending.
The group was informed about programs and projects offered by Boone County Development Agency (BCDA), Albion Economic Development Corp. (AEDC) and other groups.
The participants then formed smaller groups to discuss and fill out a group questionnaire on the following discussion points:
• What are positives in Boone County?
• What do we need to work on, change or add?
• What can Boone County do to continue to bring young adults/families back to the area?
• What are missing recreational opportunities that you would do after 5 o’clock?
• How do you feel Boone County and its businesses are doing marketing themselves to those both inside and outside the community (do people know about us)?
