Kramer Mid-State All-Conference volleyer


Boone Central senior Jenna Kramer was awarded 2016 Mid-State All-Conference volleyball honors in voting by league coaches this past week.
Kramer was one of 14 Mid-State standouts on the All-Conference team. Senior Karley Zoucha and sophomore Kelsey Thompson of Boone Central/Newman Grove received All-Conference Honorable Mention.
Kramer was BC/NG’s leading offensive force during an 11-18 2016 season, amassing 258 kills on 694 attack attempts for a .151 hitting efficiency mark. She was also an 84 percent server with 27 aces. On the defensive side, Kramer led the Cardinals with 47.5 blocks and made 57 digs.
Thompson directed the Card attack, totaling 646 set assists. Thompson served 90 percent and had 30 aces. Zoucha was one of BC/NG’s top attackers, with 147 kills and an .082 hitting efficiency on 560 attacks. She fired 20 aces while serving 88 percent.
