A driver escaped with minor injuries from a roll-over accident last Saturday afternoon, Dec. 3, on Highway 91 about six miles west of Albion.
Boone County Sheriff’s Department was called to the scene of a one-vehicle roll-over accident at 4:20 p.m. Saturday.
A 2006 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by James Sock of Albion, was westbound on Highway 91 when the driver apparently lost control, overcorrected and struck the north guardrail of a small bridge. The vehicle continued into the north ditch and rolled onto its top.
Sock, alone in the vehicle, was transported by Albion Fire & Rescue with non-life threatening injuries to Boone County Health Center. He was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
The vehicle was considered a total loss.
