Robert L. Hartford

Robert “Bob” Lee Hartford, 81, of Loretto, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017 at the Boone County Health Center in Albion.
Bob, son of Harrison Eresta and Mable (Fitzsimmons) Hartford, was born on Aug. 21, 1935, at Primrose.
Bob is survived by his wife Ruth of Albion; son-in-law: Lonnie Smith of Albion; four daughters: Susan (Rob) Stevenson of Petersburg; Roberta (Merlyn) Jacobson of Gordon; Amber Hartford of Omaha; Amy (Chad) Lingel of Papillion; 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren: Lona (Jason) Byrd of Raleigh, NC; Brittany (Tommaso) Pagano and children Ariella and Giovonni of Norfolk; Halie Smith and friend Dylan Flott of Omaha; Travis (Megan) Stevenson and children Charlotte and Campbell of Gretna; Jacob (Jessica) Stevenson and children William and Anna of North Sioux City, SD; Joseph Jacobson of Kearney; Denie Jacobson of Lincoln; MacKenzie (Andy) Myers and daughter Sky of Omaha; Garrett Hamling of Omaha; Lucas Hartford of Lincoln; and Quenton Arnold of Papillion; two sisters: Marjorie Taylor and Darlene (Andy) Schick, both of North Platte; his brother Tom (Donna) Hartford of Kearney; brother-in-law Robert Landen of Beatrice; sisters-in-law: Korrine Bailey of Centennial, CO, Gretchen Landen of Albion, and Nancy Landen of Newman Grove; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death are his parents; his daughter Kimberlie Smith; sisters and their spouses Irene (Stanley) Loeffler; Mildred (Bill) Douty; Dorothy (Don) Ostendorf; brother Bill Hartford; parents-in-law Walter and Iva Landen; sisters-in-law: Patricia (Bud) Goad, Marion Landen, Colleen Landen; brothers-in-law: Jack Landen and Leland Landen.
Funeral services were Monday, Feb. 27, 2017 at Zion Lutheran Church in Albion with Rev. David Frerichs officiating. Interment followed in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion.
