Albion Cornerstone Legion Seniors chalked up a 10-2 win over Plainview in a four-inning home game Sunday evening, June 4.
The Seniors advanced to 4-3 on the season with the win.
Plainview took a 2-0 lead in the first inning on five singles, but left the bases loaded in the end. Albion pitcher Carter Henry allowed only two more hits the rest of the way.
Albion scored one run in the second frame on an error, a single by Henry and two walks. They took the lead with two runs in the third inning on singles by Dylan Gentrup and Derek Stuhr.
Albion broke the game open in the fourth with seven runs on four hits.
Getting hits for Albion Cornerstone were Dylan Gentrup and Derek Stuhr with two singles paiece; Caden Ranslem with a double, and Carsten Bird, Carter Henry and Ryan Kramer with one single each.
