Harold C. Pfeifer

Harold Clarence Pfeifer, 75, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at his home in Cedar Rapids.
Harold is survived by his wife Veronica of Cedar Rapids; seven step-children: Paul (Joan) Pfeifer of Aurora; Joe Pfeifer and friend Marcy Jorgenson of Grand Island; Tammy (Roger) Boelts of Central City; Angela Roller of Central City; Ed (Michelle) Pfeifer of Central City; Jeff (Cheryl) Pfeifer of Omak, WA; LeAnn Kierdowski of California; 13 step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; three sisters: Agnes Gielish of ReDondo Beach, CA; Margie Ann Hogg of Seattle, WA; Charlotte Baldwin of Lincoln; two brothers: Leonard Pfeifer of Spalding; Ray (Colleen) Pfeifer of Cedar Rapids; his four-legged fur friend: Buddy; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Charlotte; four brothers: Robert, Paul, Charles, and Mark Pfeifer; two sisters: Veronica Ray, and JoEllen Aldrich; and one step-grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, June 16, 2017 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids with Msgr. Ralph Steffensmeier officiating. Inurnment followed in the St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery, Cedar Rapids with Military Rites conducted by Dan Cox American Legion Post 44 of Cedar Rapids and the American Legion Riders.
