Anthony “Tony” J. Kunzman

Anthony “Tony” Joseph Kunzman, 90, of Albion, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the Boone County Health Center in Albion.
Tony is survived by his wife Karen of Albion; six children: Julie (Brian) Rasmussen of Albion; Douglas (Annette) of Lincoln; Steven of Grand Island; daughter-in-law Colleen Kunzman of Grand Island; Jane (Craig) Little of Lincoln; Debra (Andy) VonSeggern-Johnson of North Bend; Thad (Shelby) Engelbart of Inez, TX;; brother Jack (Marion) Kunzman of Albion; sister-in-law JoAnn Kunzman of Albion; brother-in-law Ken (Susan) Feye of Muskego, WI; 13 grandchildren: Michelle (Brandon) Moser of Waverly; Leslie (Brian) Carder of Omaha; Gabriella, Courtney, and MacKenzie Kunzman of Grand Island; Brett and Trevin Little of Lincoln; Adam (Brandi) Anderson of Beemer; Bryce (Rebeka) Anderson of North Bend; Jordan VonSeggern of North Bend; Brittany (Kyle) Noack of Inez, TX; Tyler Engelbart of Inez, TX; Nichole (Casey) Sok of Blair; and Sierra Johnson of North Bend; eight great grandchildren; along with family on Billie’s side of the family: sisters-in-law: Molly Prothman, Marion Finlayson, Janice Bailey, Carol Fitzner; brothers-in-law: Joe Brown and Tom Brown; along with many other relatives and friends.
Tony is preceded in death by his parents, wife Mildred, an infant daughter, daughter-in-law Mary Kunzman; brothers Francis and Edward, sisters Dolores, Rita, Joan, Teresa, and Monica.
Mass of Christian Burial was Monday, June 26, 2017 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Albion with Rev. Mark Tomasiewicz officiating. Burial followed at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, Albion, with Military Rites conducted by American Legion Post 162 and VFW Post 736 of Albion, along with the American Legion Riders.
