Boone Central Public Schools sixth through 12th grade registration and Chromebook deployment for the 2017-18 school year will be held next Wednesday, Aug. 16, and Thursday, Aug. 17.
Registration will be at the high school commons area inside the east entrance. Hours will be from 1 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, and from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and 1 to 4 p.m. on Thursday.
All sixth through 12th graders will receive Chromebooks. A $10 fee will be paid at this time if the student is taking their Chromebook home. Any outstanding Chromebook fees from last year must be paid at this time. A parent will need to be present to sign the required paperwork.
Students will update and receive their class schedules and all necessary paperwork for the school year. The school nurse will be present to do health screenings.
Students are asked to bring the $35 for their activity ticket, applications for free and reduced lunch, their $10 Chromebook fee, and Middle School students may hand in their physical forms.
Any high school students new to the district are encouraged to call the school at 402-395-2134 to schedule an appointment with Lynne Webster, guidance counselor. Any new middle school students may call the Petersburg campus at 402-386-5302.
