Many area residents viewed the solar eclipse Monday, Aug. 21, at Fuller Park in Albion, where it was 98 percent of totality.

Local astronomer Burt Watson provided a great opportunity for viewing, with two telescopes set up throughout the eclipse.

In addition to the telescopes, there were binoculars and a video camera connected to a screen in the park shelter.
