Jon Schallert, a nationally known marketing expert and small business strategist, will be presenting a program in Albion on Thursday, Sept. 21.
His topic will be “Creating a Destination Business,” and he will be speaking during the third week of September in Columbus, O’Neill and Albion.
The presentation will be sponsored by Great Plains State Bank, Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce, Holt County Economic Development, Boone County Development Agency, Albion Economic Development Agency, Central Community College, Petersburg Industrial Development Corp., Petersburg Community Club, O’Neill Chamber of Commerce and Loup Public Power District.
Cost to attend any session is $20. For the Albion program, a portion of this fee will be waived for those presenting the invitation letter.
The Albion program will be Thursday, Sept. 21, 8 to 11:30 a.m. in the Cardinal Inn Sandhills Room.
Boone County businesses who call the Boone County Development Agency by next Wednesday, Sept. 13, will receive free admission.
In Columbus, the program will be held Tuesday, Sept. 19, 8 to 11:30 a.m. at Central Community College, Columbus, rooms 176 and 177.
In O’Neill, the program will be held Wednesday, Sept. 20, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the O’Neill Community Center.
