Elinor A. Boettcher

Elinor Ann Boettcher of Newman Grove passed away on Sept. 29, 2017 at the Mid-Nebraska Lutheran Home in Newman Grove.

Elinor is survived by her children and their spouses: Ruth Boettcher of Newman Grove; Kenneth (Kathy) Boettcher of El Paso, TX, and their son Kevin and his daughters Nikki and Bella; Janice (Randy) Kleveland of Newman Grove and their children Kerri, Christopher and his daughter Kynlea, Aaron (Samantha) and their sons Austin and Coy; Mary (Jim) Staub of Albion and their children Jean (Aaron) Berge of Seward and their sons Nathan and Gavin, Daniel and special friend Susan Prothman and their children Destiny, Ally, Dylan, Grant, Colby and Abigail, and Gregory and special friend Sheena Auten and their children Alexia, Olivia, Lillyann and Blake; Roger (Mary) Boettcher of Loveland, CO, and their children Emily (Eric) Doran and their daughters Ember, Elodie, and Elliot and Matthew and his fiancé Sarah Ross; siblings: Donald (Lois) Larson of South Sioux City and Janet (Jim) Atkinson of Albion; sisters-in-laws: Marian Larson of Tekamah, Melba Larson of Amherst, MA and Rachel Pearson of Columbus, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; father- and mother-in-law, Ernest and Maria Boettcher; brothers Gerald Larson and Lyle Larson, twins, Carl and Dale, who died at birth; brothers- and sisters-in-law: Erhardt (“Shorty”) Boettcher, Walt Boettcher, Jane Boettcher, Lois Boettcher, Ilene Boettcher, Lyle and Louise Stewart, Vernon Pearson; and nephews Herbert Boettcher, Gary Boettcher, Rodger Larson, Norman Larson; and niece Cheryl Larson.
Services for Elinor Boettcher of Newman Grove will be Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Newman Grove with burial to follow at Trinity Cemetery #1. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday at Trinity Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Newman Grove Library Foundation.
