Cornelius “Kealy” F. Seaman

Cornelius “Kealy” F. Seaman, 98, of Spalding, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017 at the Greeley Care Home in Greeley.

Kealy is survived by his five children: Sharon (Mark) Carraher of Spalding; James (April) of Omaha; Lawrence (Mary Jo) of Lincoln; Vincent (Deb) of Omaha; Janet (Mark) Bauer of Spalding; 10 grandchildren: Jeff (Julie), Steve (Nancy), Kurt (Holly), Randy (Lori), and Colin (Monica ) Carraher, all of Spalding; Scott (Heather) Seaman of Lincoln; Becca (Matt) Thiel of Omaha; Sarah Seaman of Omaha; Linda (Shane) Killion of Kearney; and Terry (Amie) Bauer of Campbell; great grandchildren: Gastyn (Tabitha) Carraher and Shelby (Darren) Davlin, all of Lincoln; Megan Carraher of Lincoln; Nick, Keaton, Connor, Drew, Brady, Caidyn, Landyn, Khyler, Bryant, Nolan, Raegan, and Caleb Carraher, all of Spalding; Beckett and Kellan Seaman of Lincoln; Jaxson and Beau Killion of Kearney; Miles, Raine, and Owen Bauer of Campbell; Ryan and Cole Thiel of Omaha; great great grandson Camryn Carraher of Lincoln; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Rosemary, infant daughter Margaret, granddaughter Kelli Seaman, infant great grandson Ivan Carraher, infant great granddaughter Shaylee Carraher, sister and brother-in-law Agnes and Joe Krick, Sr.; brothers and sisters-in-law: Bernard and Maxine Seaman, Andrew and Helen Seaman.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, Nov. 13, 2017 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Spalding with Fr. Antony Thekkekara and Fr. James Murphy officiating. Burial followed in the St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, Spalding, with military rites conducted by the James Kessler American Legion Post 299 of Spalding.
