A total of 75 runners and walkers were on hand for Albion’s third annual Thanksgiving Turkey Trot last Thursday, Nov. 23, starting and finishing the 3.1 mile route at the downtown mini-park.
It was the largest turnout so far for the Albion Chamber of Commerce-sponsored event. Weather conditions were unusually mild for this year’s run/walk.
Winner of the Best Costume award this year was Harrison Dodds.
Medals were awarded to first and second place runners in various categories. In the male division, Scott Wright placed first and Josh Pedro was second. In the female division, Jade Bentley won first place and Nikki Thompson was second. Troy Sandman was the youth division winner, with Lane Donner placing second.
