Students from both Boone and Nance counties participated in a four-day entrepreneurship camp this week and last week. They spent the first day brainstorming ideas for their very own product sale, which they held Tuesday, July 24. Over the course of the camp, students created logos, purchased project materials and learned about community involvement. They also toured local businesses and heard from area entrepreneurs. Students worked on developing their products and sales pitch before presenting their ideas to the community at their product fair. Items included bracelets, yard decor, wall hangings, dog treats and more.
