Gladys G. Fitzgerald

Gladys G. Fitzgerald, 91, of Albion, died Sunday, March 23, 2008 at the Wolf Memorial Good Samaritan Center in Albion. Services were held on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Christ in Albion with ministers David Bendickson and Gary Bennett officiating. Burial was held at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion. Visitation was held on Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. at the Levander Funeral Home.

 

Howard L. Wilson

Howard L. Wilson, 84, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the Boone County Health Center in Albion. Services were held on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Edward Catholic Church in St. Edward, NE, with Father Jim Novotny officiating. Burial was held at the St. Edward Catholic Cemetery. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Church with a 8:00 p.m. Wake Service. Visitation resumed Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time.

 

Vlasta E. Karel

Vlasta E. Karel, 99, of St. Edward, died March 28, 2008 at Cloverlodge Care Center. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at the New Zion Presbyterian Church in Clarkson with Rev Cathy Allen officiating. Burial was held at the Clarkson National Cemetery. Visitation was held on Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home in Clarkson and resumed at 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church.

Carolyn R. Maricle

Carolyn Rose Maricle, 69, died March 24, 2008 in Ft. Mitchell, KY. She was a retired Southwestern Elementary School teacher and a member of the Hanover United Methodist Church.
A memorial service was held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2008 at the Hanover United Methodist Church, 220 E. LaGrange Road, Hanover.
Memorials can be sent to JDRF, 8440 Woodfield Crossing Blvd, Suite 201, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46240, to fund diabetes research.

Mary B. Smutny Daniel

Mary B. Smutny Daniel, 90, of Madison, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Faith Regional Health Services. Services were held Friday, March 28, 2008, at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church in Madison and burial was held at St. Leonard’s Cemetery. Visitation were on Thursday from 3-7 p.m., followed by rosary at the church.
