Lillian V. Sturek, 81 of Bartlett, died Monday, May 12, 2008 at the Park Place Golden Living Center in Grand Island. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George who passed on May 13, 1996.

Dortha L. (Dot) Carraher, 89, of Spalding, died May 16, 2008 at the Boone County Health Center. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, May 20, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Spalding with Rev. Joe Hannappel, Jim Murphy, Mary Avidano and Ray Avidano officiating.

Donna M. Thompson

Donna Mae Thompson, 75, of  Albion,  died on Friday, May 16, 2008 at the University Medical Center, Clarkson Tower in Omaha. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at Zion Lutheran Church in Albion    with Rev. Larry Sydow officiating. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion. Donna K. Packard

Donna K. Packard, 51, of Albion, died Sunday evening, May 18, 2008 at her home following a lengthy illness with cancer.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2008 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Albion with Father Stan Schmit officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the church with a 7:30 p.m. Wake Service. Visitation will resume Friday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Harold William “Butch” Beierman, 85, of Albion, died Friday, May 9, 2008 at Wolf Memorial Good Samaritan Center. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with Father Stan Schmit officiating. Burial was in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery.
