After ‘Tent City’ at Petersburg, BRAN riders roll on to Shelby

Petersburg tent cityAbout 600 bicyclists from Nebraska and several other states rolled into Petersburg, NE, on Thursday, June 12, as part of the annual Bike Ride Across Nebraska (BRAN). There, they formed a “tent city” in the park and enjoyed good food and entertainment provided by local organizations.

The riders and their support crews saddled up early Friday to continue their week-long trek, passing through Albion, St. Edward, Genoa, Silver Creek and Osceola on their way into Shelby for another overnight stay. The annual 28th annual ride ends Saturday, June 14, at Yutan, NE.
