Albion’s American Legion Juniors opened and closed last week with losses, but edged Ord Thursday for their third victory of the summer.
Albion (3-7) dropped a tough 7-6 decision to visiting Creighton Wednesday before nipping host Ord 6-4 the following night. The Juniors were beaten 17-2 in four innings by O’Neill Sunday at the Albion Sports Complex.
The Albion American Legion Post #162 Seniors experienced another tough week, dropping three straight decisions to fall to 2-8 on the season.
A strong Creighton squad scored an 8-1 victory over Albion Wednesday at the sports complex and the Seniors lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at Ord the following night. Albion hosted O’Neill Sunday, dropping an 8-5 decision.
