Deva H. VanDeWalle, 86, of Albion died Monday, June 30, 2008 at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.
Services were at 10:30  a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Palmer Funeral Home in Fullerton. Lay Minister Vernon Olson officiated. Private burial will be at a later date.

LeRoy L. Johnson, 85, passed away on June 28, 2008 in Citrus Heights, CA. A memorial service was held Tuesday, July 8, at the Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church.

Thomas J. Fitzsimmons

Thomas J. Fitzsimmons, 65, of Cedar Rapids died on Sunday, July 6, 2008 at his home in Cedar Rapids. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. Fr. Ralph Steffensmeier officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

Robert (Bob) Zwiener

Robert (Bob) Zwiener, 47, of Overland Park, KS, formerly of Spalding, died June 26 at Kansas City Hospice House in Missouri. Visitation will be Friday, July 11, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Spalding from 6-8 p.m., with a prayer vigil at 7 p.m. The mass of Christian burial will be at St. Michael’s on July 12, at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Joe Hannappel and Fr. Jim Murphy officiating. Military burial will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
