Thomas James Fitzsimmons, 65, died on Sunday, July 6, 2008 at his home in Cedar Rapids. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9,  at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. Fr. Ralph Steffensmeier officiated. Burial was held in the St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery in Cedar Rapids.

Orvileen “Orma” Klassen, 83, of Lindsay, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at the Boone County Health Center. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Monday. July 14, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lindsay, with Fr. James F. Novotny. Burial was in the Holy Family Cemetery in Lindsay.

Anne Briese, 86, of Portland, OR died Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Cascade Terrace in Portland. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 18,  at Zion Lutheran Church in Albion. Rev. Michael Kern will officiate. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the Levander Funeral Home in Albion.
