August will be a busy month for street work in Albion, with several projects going on simultaneously.
In photo above, concrete paving is underway on about 1 1/2 blocks of South 11th Street. The work will include installing new driveway approaches to several homes.
Asphalt resurfacing is also scheduled on several blocks beginning this week. The first of the six scheduled asphalt projects will be on Fifth and Sixth Streets betweeen Marengo and State, beginning with concrete removal and milling this Thursday, Aug. 7, weather permitting.
