William H. Engelbert

William H. Engelbert, 94, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. Cremation has taken place and a private burial was held in Bethlehem Cemetery in Ann Arbor.

 

Mildred Peterson

Mildred Peterson, 94, of Newman Grove , died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008 at Oakland Heights Nursing Home. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 8, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Newman Grove. Pastor David Lapka officiated. Burial was held in the Hope Cemetery.

 

Elaine E. Anderson

Elaine Evelyn Ellis Anderson, 93, of St. Edward, died Sunday, Aug. 3, at Cloverlodge Care Center. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008 at the Palestine Baptist Church in rural St. Edward. Pastor Carl Edwards and Pastor Carlyle Gwin officiated. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, St. Edward.

 

Nancy Foreman-Fransecky

Nancy Foreman-Fransecky, 67, Omaha, died on Aug. 8, 2008. Services were held  on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008, 10 a.m., at the West Center Chapel in Omaha.

 

Marcella M. Bethscheider

Marcella Marie Bethscheider, 90, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2008 at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. Msgr. Ralph Steffensmeier officiated. Burial was in the St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery.

 

Nick Labenz

Nick Labenz, 82, of Newman Grove, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008 at the Mid-Nebraska Lutheran Home in Newman Grove. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 11, at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Lindsay. Father James Novotny officiated. Burial was held in the St. Michael’s Cemetery in Albion, with military honors by American Legion Post #73 of Newman Grove.

 

JaimmyLee Loure Burnett

JaimmyLee Loure Burnett, infant daughter of Mitchell and Jessica (Majerus) Burnett, passed away July 30, 2008 at the Jennie Melham Medical Center at Broken Bow. Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 8, 2008 at 10 a.m. at St. Anselm’s Catholic Church at Anselmo. Father Jim Hunt officiated. Interment was held at the Dale Cemetery.
