Residents and veterans’ organizations from throughout Boone County took part in the “America Supports You Freedom Walk” in Albion last Thursday evening, Sept. 11. More than 120 people walked from the Albion Sports Complex to the Boone County Courthouse, where a short program was held to remember the seventh anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on America, and to salute the servicemen and women who protect our freedom at home and abroad.
