Petersburg will hold its fifth annual Punkin Chunkin’TM event this Sunday, Oct. 26, in a field one mile east of town.
Punkin Chunkin’ will feature a “shoot” at 1 p.m., with divisions for air cannons, mechanical launchers, trebuchets and catapults.
A top prize of $500 will be awarded for the longest distance shoot. There will also be a prize for accuracy.
A variety of associated activities will be held.
