Child Indentification Program (CHIP) was held Saturday, Oct. 25 at Boone Central Elementary under sponsorship of Albion Masonic Lodge #78, A.F. & A.M.
The program was free and open to all area parents and students. The day was spent taking digital photographs, along with a video interview, fingerprints, toothprints and DNA cheek swabs of the chidlren. Children up to the age of 18 were able to participate in the program. All the materials were given to the parents for safekeeping.
The program expected to have over 200 children participate. Pictured above is a child rceiving a DNA swab and the left picture is a child receiving a dental imprint.
