Two Boone Countians to travel on next Honor Flight

Two more Boone County World War II era veterans will be traveling aboard the next Heartland Honor Flight on Wednesday, Nov. 19.

Raymond (Ray) Prothman of rural Albion and Robert (Bob) Watts of Cedar Rapids will board the flight to Washington, DC, at Eppley Airfield, Omaha, early next Wednesday morning. After arriving at Dulles Airport, Washington, DC, they will board buses for a tour of the World War II Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery and other sites of interest.

They will go to Omaha on Nov. 18 to attend a dinner in honor of all World War II veterans planning to make the trip.
