Three Card Volleyers All-Conference

Julia Temme (l), Stephanie Paulson, Brittany LuettelThree players from Boone Central’s 13-10 volleyball team received honors in voting by Mid-State Conference coaches.
Cardinal seniors Brittany Luettel and Stephanie Paulson were named Mid-State All-Conference for the 2008 season and senior Julia Temme received Honorable Mention.
“We are excited to have these girls recognized for their hard work and ability,” Boone Central Coach Erin Eickhoff commented. “These seniors have set a high standard for future players in our program and they should be proud of their hard work and dedication to the sport and their team.”
Brittany Luettel led Boone Central’s attack this past season with a team-high 152 kills. She also had 11 ace blocks, 10 ace serves and 20 set assists during the 2008 campaign.
Stephanie Paulson provided an all-around presence at the net for the Cardinals, registering 81 kills and a team-leading 42 ace blocks. Paulson also had 14 ace serves and 14 assists for BC.
Julia Temme was one of Boone Central’s most versatile players in ‘08. Along with 119 kills, second to Luettel, she served 24 aces and had 13 blocks and 14 assists.
