VeraSun Energy Corporation announced last week that it has received an unsolicited buyout offer and “intends to pursue this indication of interest to its conclusion,” according to a company news release.
VeraSun stated the buyout offer pertains to the purchase of all its assets.
The company will also evaluate other proposals it may receive in accordance with its obligations as a debtor in possession under Chapter 11 bankruptcy, the company stated.
